The theater means direct contact with the audience. It has immediate effect and catharsis. It generates emotions and thoughts from many people on the spot. That’s why the regime had to monitor it very closely. They were really active in censorship. In this program we can hear stories how the ruling dictatorship was trying to control the thunderous cheers and standing ovations following certain performances. There are stories about this schizophrenic era, when while artists were reported and spied on, their informers often shook their hands and embraced them warmly in public.

The January 22 talk show focuses on censorship. Since one of its most sneaking types is when even the existence of censorship is denied, when the censorship itself is made taboo and officially there is no censor, just an office with the right to make decisions about what can be published or what words are forbidden to use; what cannot be framed in a statue; or painted; what cannot be said on a stage or in a film; what cannot be danced or sung. The participants of the discussion disclose cases and practices from past decades and centuries. The motto of the talk show could be “Let us talk about past before it gets blacklisted by oblivion.”

Fashion Week

The magazine presents all the news of the world of design and fashion, without age limit. Principally we record national and international fashion shows, exhibitions and short interviews with designers and stylists. Media stars and their events appear in the magazine but in a different way, like in the commercial channels.
The Fashion week tries to entertain in a certain way, to inform about interesting and valuable happenings, to introduce to the old traditions and to new costumes as well.
We show how the fashion became a part of the everyday culture and how do we live together with it.
Regarding to the architecture and design, the furniture design and even the free time activities or entertaining- every activity needs articles for personal use. All the articles around us have a sort of design. Even thou our personal appearance what shows our lifestyle.

(Three outstanding creative personalities are presented in Haven. The genial painter of the Hungarian reform age, Miklós Barabás, who established portrait painting in Hungary, was born 200 years ago. Painter, Endre Hévézi, who arrived in Western Europe as a student was awarded a Partium Prize in 2008 for his stained-glass windows made for the Zalau church. His art ranges from buildings to ceramics, to stained-glass windows. Poet Estheticus Dezső Kosztolányi, was born 125 years ago. Haven commemorates the anniversary of his birth through a less known cycle and some excerpts from his letters.)

Tatabánya is located in the valley between the Gerecse and the Vértes. Its territory has been inhabited since ancient times. The coal fields were discovered in the 18th century, which significantly changed the life of the region. The first cart of coal was brought up at Christmas, 1896. The colony around the mines belonged to Alsógalla for a couple of years. Let’s see what we can find out about the past, present and the future prospects of the city and its vicinity.

Concert of Australian composers works

01. 21. 2010.
(I would like to invite you to another corner of the world, to ask you come to the southern hemisphere, to a continent, an island, a country that is called Australia and where lots of Hungarians live.
Many of them compose music, and there is a rich tradition of classical music. Our classical music, however, has a unique Australian taste, and I think the audience will be curious to taste it.
Thus, I cordially invite you to watch this program, to enjoy the music and then to come to Australia, where you can have an extensive musical and artistic experience.
